The 100 LANGUAGES

This section draws inspiration from a cornerstone philosophy of the globally acclaimed Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. Specifically, it channels Loris Malaguzzi’s celebrated poem, which reminds us that children possess “a hundred languages”—a powerful call to action that demands a deep pedagogical commitment to cultivating spaces for expressing and exploring this multitude of voices.

My goal here is to push this idea further**, posing a** provocative yet elegantly simple premise: every individual—regardless of age—deserves the opportunity to explore these diverse modes of communication. We should all be empowered to use them to express ourselves, discover the world, and continue learning throughout our lives.

Within this section, you will find vibrant examples of creative pedagogies in practice, and projects where the principles of ICE (Innovation, Creativity and Enterprise) come to life. I will also share alternative tools, frameworks, metaphors, and models designed to spark unconventional inspiration, deeper insights, and new horizons for lifelong learning –guided by the belief that to truly innovate, it is vital to learn to look for these unusual inspirations in unconventional places.
